FAQ

Q

LED light overheating

A

2. Abnormal Fever (Overheating)

Defective heat dissipation design: The lamp housing, lamp panel, or heat dissipation structure (such as heat sink) is unreasonably designed, and heat cannot be dissipated in time.
Low efficiency of the drive power supply: Poor quality drive power supply has poor conversion efficiency (for example, only 60%-70%), a large amount of electric energy is converted into heat, and the self-heating is serious, which also affects the heat dissipation of the lamp beads.
Closed installation environment: The luminaire is installed in a closed space (such as a non-ventilated lampshade or ceiling interlayer), and the accumulated heat cannot be dissipated, resulting in an increase in overall temperature

Q

Common LED Lighting Issues

A

1. The lights flicker or dim intermittently

Unstable driving power supply: Fluctuations in the output current/voltage of the driving power supply (e.g., failure of filter capacitors, design flaws in the circuit) lead to unstable power supply to the lamp beads, causing flickering.
Aging or partial damage of lamp beads: The performance of some lamp beads deteriorates, and the luminous efficiency decreases, resulting in inconsistent brightness with other lamp beads, visually appearing as "flickering".
Compatibility issues: If a dimmer switch is used, but the LED light does not support dimming (or the driver and dimmer are incompatible), it will cause unstable current, leading to flickering.
Poor line contact: Loose wiring causes the circuit to intermittently connect and disconnect, resulting in intermittent flickering

Q

What is the energy-saving effect of your Eco-FCU compared to traditional products?

A

The Eco-FCU is equipped with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), saving approximately 70% at low speed, 60% at medium speed, and 50% at high speed, verified by third-party reports (Q24-WT0181).

Q

Do your air purification devices have the ability to kill COVID-19? What technologies are used?

A

Yes, using chaotic plasma technology, nano-silver/titanium ion coatings, and UV-C photocatalysis, which can effectively decompose microbial DNA/RNA and kill pathogens such as coronaviruses.

Q

Is Eco-FCU certified for green buildings? What is the certification level?

A

Yes, Eco-FCU and its permanent magnet synchronous motor have obtained the highest-level Platinum Certification from the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), and comply with international standards such as CE, RoHS, and CCC.
